We are a community of dog trainers who want to encourage people to find alternative ways to engage, fulfill & connect with your dog. Bitesports can be a great outlet for dogs with the proper temperament & drive for this particular activity.
We teach members how to engage their dogs in the game of tug, build the foundation based on prey drive and build confidence in the dog to enjoy the game. Even if people are not looking to compete, you will learn how to channel your dogs drive, impulse control & responsiveness when playing with drive. Beginners are welcome.
We host “Open Bite Nights” every
2nd & 4th Friday of the month from 6p-10p.
Location @ Leash Drop Canine
2857 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60608
Free to spectate if you want to come learn about the sport.
$50 (per dog) to work your dog.
Free parking is available on Archer or side streets. There is a limited amount of kennels to crate indoors (they’re first come first serve). You can also bring personal portable kennels or crate out of your car.
When you arrive, use the left hand side door next to the “Leash Drop Canine” logo. Come in without your dog to scope out what we’re working on. Sign up on our training board. Dogs will rotate throughout the evening.
